Could'nt agree more. Arnott is not the solution. We need to look no further than Buffalo to see that a team with several small (or not too big) key players can win and get far in the playoffs. Martin St-louis was another good example last year. I'm always surprised to hear fellow Habs fans say, even in the new NHL, that we need more and more size. Talented and big is better than small and talented. But talented + drive, willingness to sacrifice, the desire to win and leadership will always be a better equation than talent + size, no matter how big the guy is. We don't need size right now, but we do need more players who care about the team, who have bell Centre-sized heart and respect the franchise and its great fan base (with decent talent ).

And for the record, I think Arnott, a guy who had a career season just before hitting the open market, a guy who has always had a rep as being hard to deal with (coaches) and a guy to whom consistency has always been an issue is everything BUT what our team needs.
