Not saying it's great or good, but it's not horrible. It's average and to say it's anything but that isn't being objective. I would say there is a lot of fans who aren't going to spend their money on AHL or Jr hockey when they have the choice to spend it on NHL hockey because those leagues aren't top level hockey. If you aren't the Leafs (or another NHL team, assuming the NHL moves one), then you have to make a huge effort to bring in customers just like every other minor sports team.
