I'm not telling other people how to spend their money. I'm just saying that jerseys are an incredibly frivolous item as it is, and it's not something you necessarily would need to buy in large quantities. To me the alleged <100 dollar difference between a 'cheap' jersey and an 'expensive' one, for a one-time throw-away-your-money cost is negligible. That kind of price differential can be made up by not going out for a single weekend. I don't think it really reaches cat food eating territory for most people. If you bought a jersey every five years, that's less than 20 dollars a year in difference.
