That general mood was after Yandle had played half a season with the big club (and a cup of coffee the year before). Rundblad has thirty games under two different coaches/teams in comparative experience as he adjusts to the smaller rink and is a year younger than Yandle was at that point.

I'm not suggesting Rundblad will end up as reliable as Yandle, but it also isn't impossible. He also has more offensive flair than Yandle. I don't know that he's ready for prime time, but I'm certainly not ready to give up on him.
