So, if you're allowed a one time amnesty buyout for your team, who do you think it might be(if anyone) and who would you look at for replacing them?

For the Canucks, Keith Ballard is the most likely choice; if he gets cut then I would like to see a prospect like Connauton given a shot on the 3rd pairing, otherwise I wouldn't mind using a pick to acquire a defenseman from the Devils or Sabres to shore up our depth.
I really don't think the Canucks would use the buyout this year and save it if thats possible. No point with going with a rookie 3rd pairing especially if and when knowing the Canucks injury luck) someone goes down, a rookie moves into the top 4 or even both do and Alberts plus Sauve would be running the 3rd pairing.

The Canucks don't need the cap space so unless they have a deal in-place to take up the free cap space, theres no need to weaken the team now for un-used cap space.
