The way I see it, he keeps an average team, so we have another blue chip prospect while signing the young core players and just waiting for big contract to end(Gomez,Gionta,Kaberle..) to build a competitive team. I think its the right way to do it.
Bergevin has been in charge for less than 6 months, he has yet to make an impact on team. He can thank Gauthier and Gainey for setting the table for the future for him!
