While I'm not sure the picks really matter, I don't disagree with the idea.

If we have teams that are consistently absent, replacing them with the CPU will speed up the remainder of this season. In the interim, we can begin building a waiting-list, and then allow those guys to start fresh right around the time of the draft. Most guys would probably rather take on a (losing) team at the start of the offseason anyway.
