My Mackinnon hit 88 overall after 3 seasons
Son of a... drafted him first overall in 2013 as a 62 OVR, 5* POT.

Spent 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16 in the minors. After three years he was a 69 OVR, 5* POT.

2016-17 played top line AHL and bumped up to a 71 OVR.

2017-18 played half season top line AHL and put up like 9 points in 33 games... switched him to 2nd line and he went on a tear with something like point per game in the remaining games. Dropped to a 69 OVR.

2018-19 back to the top line AHL as a 69 OVR. Hopefully he progresses some this year... He's already been passed on the depth charts by Reinhart, Rask, Lazar.
