And that trade is also considered a total fleece-job. Thornton wasn't shopped, and it would be certain that if Joe was to leave SJ, DW wouldn't shop him to a single team.

Either way, I'm not sure how much Joe would garner to be honest. Depends on teams involved, trigger-happiness of playoff-bound GMs, timing, etc. To say flat out one way or the other at this point is ridiculous considering where the NHL is right now. And to make extreme statements (either side of extreme) is silly.
