WEST POINT, N.Y. - Five different players scored for the Niagara men's hockey team as the Purple Eagles extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a convincing 5-0 victory over the Army Black Knights on Friday evening at Tate Rink.

With the win, the Purple Eagles (5-2-3; 4-0-0 AHA) have shut out their opponents for three-straight contests, netting 13 goals in that span. During its six-game unbeaten streak, NU has outscored its opponents by a 22-7 margin.

Isaac Kohls picked up a career-high three points with a goal and two assists to hand the Black Knights (2-4-1; 2-1-1 AHA) their first loss in conference play this season, while Matt Williams, Chris Lochner, Ryan Rashid and Marc Zanette each added to the scoresheet.

Niagara goaltender Carsen Chubak remains solid between the pipes, pushing aside 27 Army shots for his fifth win of the season and fourth shutout. The junior has not allowed a goal in 199 minutes of play.

Niagara and Army meet again tomorrow evening at 7:05 pm ET. The game will be televised - LIVE - on the backup channels for TWCSC - Buffalo - Channel 87 - Rochester - Channel 98. There will be a replay on both main TWCSC channels - Buffalo - Channel 13 or Channel 52 - and Rochester - Channel 26 - on Monday, November 12 at 3:30 pm ET. TWCSC Rochester will also replay the game on Tuesday, November 13 at 9:30 pm ET.

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Robert Morris cruised to victory over the Canisius College hockey team on Friday night, earning a 4-0 win at the Buffalo State Sports Arena. The Griffs are now 1-5-3 and 0-1-1 in Atlantic Hockey action, while the Colonials improve to 4-3-0 and 3-2-0 against league foes.

Canisius now heads down the thruway to play RIT on Saturday evening. The game will be televised LIVE on both TWCSC Buffalo and TWCSC Rochester starting at 7:00 pm ET.
