I didn't think they could either, but this guy did. He just put on an absolute show for his rookie year too, although he is 25. In 66 starts he went 51-10-5 with a 1.70 GAA, a 94.3% save with 9 shutouts. At the end of the regular season I didn't think he could do any better, but he stepped it up even more in playoffs and led us to a cup! He went 16-5 with a 1.37 GAA, a 95.5% save with 7 shutouts.

At the end of the year he won: the Hart, Calder, Conn Smythe, Vezina, Jennings, and the Lindsay..wow. Again, that was his rookie year! Morrisey also won the Norris, while Parise won the Lady Byng! We cleaned house this year, wow.

I just finished the 2020-2021 season with the Blue Jackets and we went 60-16-6 and my teams line-up is:

Z. Parise, 89 PLY - N. Mackinnon, 86 PLY (A) - I. Kovalchuk, 87 overall
A. Rossignol, 82 TWF - A. Anisimov, 85 PLY - D. Bobkov, 81 PWF*
N. Foligno, 83 TWF - B. Dubinsky, 84 TWF - T. Kristiansen, 78 PWF
B. Ranford, 78 TWF - R. Johansen, 79 PLY - T. Jokinen, 80 GRN

J. Morrissey, 89 OFD (A) - R. Murray, 87 TWD (C)
J. Johnson, 85 OFD - J. Macmurchy, 82 TGH**
Y. Auvitu, 79 TWD - J. Asham, 79 DFD

P. Cadorette, 87 HYB
S. Peltonen, 80 HYB

* Big 6'2" 235lb PWF from Latvia, picked him 3rd overall in 2015 and he's been a consistent 50-60 pt player since the year after his draft year on my second line.

** Macmurchy is another 3rd round draft pick I've had success with, picked him in 2014. He started as a 67 3 1/2 gold star and now that he's 26 he just finished his rookie year in the NHL. Had 4 goals and 13 pts with a +22, not bad. For a tough guy he isn't very physical though, he only had 47 PIMs and 80 hits.
