Since 8% >> odds than 6% then playing is greater to not playing for Leafs to get MacKinnon.

The advantage of a cancelled season is not having to endure the losing in order to earn that top pick like last year.
I'd rather watch hockey and see them lose (but maybe win?) than not have any hockey at all. Winter is a long long season and hockey makes it somewhat bearable.
