He's unrestricted in 2, sorry, less than 2 seasons. He could walk for nothing, and you'd have used Kessel as nothing more than a band-aid.

And where is Luongo's noticeable signs of decline? we won a 2nd pres trophy with him as the #1. He made a lot of big, timely saves. Schneider has been awesome since the day we drafted him, he was due more games - it had nothing to do with Luongo. If you really watched the Canucks in the playoffs, you'd have seen the team have injury issues, and struggle. They needed a change, why not throw Schnieder in? Pretty obvious his play had earned him a playoff start. oh, and Big surprise! they played better with Daniel in the lineup.
