If I lived in Springfield I wouldn't care about the strike.

Seriosly, McIlhenny has been really good, amazing actually. The real question is how much of that is him and how much of that is the Sprinfield blue Line. Moore and Erixon are playing together, which looks like an outstanding pairing. I hear from the local folk that Savard did not have a good off-season, but still it seems like the Falcons have NHL prospects and experience on every pairing. That has to make for an outstanding AHL team. McIlhenny is playing like Pekka Rinne, and maybe for the same reason.
