You can claim "But Crosby in 41 game!!!" all you want. I bet you can go find a 41-game stretch in Ovechkin's best years that is comparable. Half a season is just that; half a season. Unless you're Mario Lemieux and play 60 games, but still win the Ross by more than ten points, half a season doesn't count as better than a full season.
