Comparisons are very tough because it's nearly impossible to get an exact fit, but a couple NHL comparables I can see are:
- Josh Gorges (solid all around, but not flashy. Can make an offensive play, but relies more on solid positioning and grit. But McEneny is a bit bigger.)
- Ladislav Smid (above average upside in almost all facets of the game, but won't blow you away in any one regard.)
