I wasn't very happy with the Price pick, and after hearing all the arguments and seeing Jose get traded, I'm still not convinced.

Price might become a great goalie, but you don't often have to sacrifice a top 5 pick for a star goalie. Look at how many great goalies there are and will be who are drafted only in later rounds.

I'm sure we could've drafted Brule at 5th and still get a great goaltender in the later rounds (or maybe during another draft year).

And for those who say that Brule will get killed in the NHL, just read up on what they said about the Rocket when he first came into the league...

My point is: Brule might have an injury-prone career, but it's also likely that as his body matures, he'll be better able to withstand the physical play in the NHL. He might even learn to play a smarter game. You don't waste a 5th pick on a goalie, not matter how great he can become.
