This time seems different since they are coming off a losing season, whereas their previous fire sales have followed World Series titles. People are angry about this trade, but they also dumped Heath Bell and Hanley Ramirez in the last 4 months. I can feel for Stanton, they gave him hope last winter and then quickly demolished the team.
