As much as I like Drouin, and I would like to have him with the habs, comparing or saying he'll surpass Kane is laughable. Comparing prospect to proven NHLers is what I dislike the most on this forum. First of all, Kane is much faster and agile on his skates than Drouin. Secondly, Kane is 23 and already had a 80 pts+ season. Now please look at how many players get 80 pts the last few years, not a lot. The fact is that too many people live in the past to accept that the NHL has changed, and a good season from elite players will get them 70-80 pts, with the exception of superstars. Not to mention that Kane was clutch as **** during the 2 years they went deep in the playoffs. Kane is a tremendous player and Drouin will need to prove himself in the NHL first to even say he'll be better than an actual elite player that is still so young. The potential is there, but only few players live up to the expectations and get 80+ pts seasons.
