The Glendale City Council will hear details of a new arena deal on Nov. 20. After that workshop, the council could vote on the Coyotes deal on Nov. 27.
The new deal has the city paying Jamisonís Arizona Arena Hockey Partners LLC $11 million by the end of June and then between $13 million and $18 million per year through the rest of the 20-year lease term.
Glendale is slated to pay Jamisonís group more than $300 million over two decades to manage and run Arena. The payments also help the prospective owner buy the Coyotes from the National Hockey League.
Glendale approved an arena deal back in June, but city officials never finalized the pact and have been working out a new accord with Jamison. Backers of the Coyotes deal want to hold a vote before a new mayor and council are seated in January, and there is less support for arena management payments.
