So how did the goalies fair…

CP vs. Hawks (2-3) Big win for Brock Crossthwaite– why wasn’t he one of the stars? Who chooses the stars: seems they can give this to his partner in/for lesser games, why not him? Give this kid a chance, he will shine.
No doubt a tough job supporting starter Carmine Guerriero.

Nepean vs. Smith Falls (2-1) good game for Zawadzki, nice to see he is getting more than 25+ shots/game recently. A tough game for Patrick Martin, but this situation tonight and last week’s game will happen for all goalies as they accumulate more games/minutes.
Good news for Martin and Zawadski is… they have great talent(s)/team in front of them and they usually make a goalie’s job easier. Big accolades to (SF) Jimmy Howe for coming in and delivering a really great performance.

Ottawa vs. Kanata (1-2) - A good game for Alexandre Savard-Belanger, his team should be proud, even with the loss. This kid has potential.
Brandon Lane was the difference in this game. The score could/should have been a lot different, in favor of Ottawa, if not for Lane. With this one, folks should consider the amount of shots and lack of DF he has in front of him each game. Kanata is where they are now for certain players such as Lane. Shout out to St-Germain, Brayden – watch this kid in the years to come!

Pembroke vs. Brockville (2-4) – Upset for Brockville!! - Really a wash with shots, PP, but good win for Matt Jenkins and tough lose for Andy Monroe

Cornwall vs. Gloucester (5-2) – Good win for Jamie Edwardson and a big call out to Gunner Rivers for great effort facing 36 shots. He and his goalie partner De Meis, Gianmarco are showing perseverance with a struggling team

Cumberland vs. Kemptville (3-6) Jacob Tugnutt had a great game.
Again…who chooses the stars?
If a goalie is the main result of the win and or motivating his team, why not acknowledge?? (Oh, sorry, they are doing this for certain teams….) Congrats Tugnutt for a great effort.

Congrats to all goalies –
They are the reason for: a win, the blame for a lose and the difference in between....
Great comments and good insight but i caught they kemptville/grads game and i would say tugnutt played very average dropping rebounds and letting in less than steller goals. Was a very slow game with weak goals let in on both sides. Proof why both these teams are the bottom two. Even with players shining like House and Byron for keptville you gotta ask when they'll want out with it being their last years and hopefully they can get more than $$$$ back with brenton gone.
