For this thing to get settled the owners will again need to get their # 1 priority...50/50 HRR with continued linkage and without some crazy minded the owners have to pay for all the damages of a lockout. Yes, they got the basic concepts they wanted but the actual % is just as important as the concept of linkage.

I agree with you on the rest, I don't think the NHL really cares about the contract limitations that much, as long as they get the true 50/50 split.
