If there's one player benefiting from the lockout, it's Kreider. I really think that spending a bit of time in the AHL is helpful to him. He may never even realize it, he may think he lost time because of the lockout, but he'd be struggling and frustrated in the NHL if not for the lockout. Instead, he'll make a much smoother transition because of the pro experience he's getting.
