Islanders willing to deal Hamrlik?

I'm not a fan of either the Leafs or Isles so I don't really have a bias here, but this is worth noting:
Stejan is a 19 year old kid who worked his way onto a
team coached by someone who historically has no use for young players. He's been credited for helping Nolan turn his season around and has been praised by guys like Joe Nieuwendyk. He's having a significant impact on a 1st place team (2nd in the league), he makes 950k per year and most of all he's a really fun player to watch.
Talent wise, its fair to say he'll never be an elite scorer but he's shown he's capable of chipping in offensively while being very responsible defensively and with his other skills and work ethic he can safely be projected as a top 6 forward (he's not too far from that now).
Hamrlik is a solid defenseman who the Leafs could
use, but I really can't see them moving Stajan for him (even if on the open market Hamrlik is worth more). With the Leafs playing well right now, I doubt they'll make any moves...at some point they'll most likely need to add a defenseman - preferable a top D like Hamrlik - but odds are the Leafs will shy away from adding another big salary and will look more for someone like Keith Carney (or someone similar).
