A hard working, solid all around player seems like just the guy they may be looking for with a 4th line wing or 13th forward.
Well, Danault will shut you down and outscore you too.
He's an elite shutdown forward at the junior level, can score, busts his ass every shift, and is a great team guy.
As for Hudon, HC loves him and rightfully so.
He's so slick and smart and has improved his skating.
Catenacci may have the better statistics this year, but Hudon has the history (invited to U18 as an underager, tore up the Hlinka, surprised those who didn't know about him at the CAN-RUS series) and is smarter.

Drouin probably played his way into an invite by matching Yakupov's SSS total in a whopping one game, has insane chemistry with MacKinnon (he makes everyone better, honestly), and his combination of drive and smarts makes him an absolute game breaker.
Monahan gets an invite because he's so versatile and will play well in whatever situation he's put in.
Shinkaruk is also a 94 and has a track record that speaks for itself, with a scoring touch in WHL and international play that is hard to ignore.
He probably has the least chance of making the team, but is deserving of an invite IMO.

Drouin and MacKinnon would have cages, Monahan wouldn't since he's 18.
