^ It helps that they only lost 1 player in their whole run. With both sides fully healthy I still think we were the better team. But after losing 5 guys? Definitely not.

We basically had 3 lines the whole postseason. It should been:

Daniel - Henrik - Burrows
Raymond - Kesler - Samuelsson
Torres - Malhotra - Hansen
Higgins - Lapierre - ____

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Ehrhoff
Ballard/Rome - Salo

Which was as good as any team when fully healthy. But what's often overlooked is that even with everyone healthy, we were looking at either Desbiens/Oreskovich as 4th line RW... our 4th line was just so bad for much of that season. Unless AV was willing to try Hodgson at wing, and I'm almost certain he would have done better than those two.

We only had 3 legitimate RW options that year, which is why it was frustrating seeing Shirokov - either him or Hodgson - not getting a further look on Kesler's wing and thus possibly bumping everyone down a line, giving you a little more offense and finally having 4 good lines you can roll any time.
