Good pick... wanted him for about 5-6 rounds but Dreakmur and I couldn't quite agree on a goalie. I'm glad we took Maniago, but there is lots to like about Casey as well.

One interesting thing is that out of all the goalies worth considering around this time, he has by far the most extensive playoff resume. During that time, he played at a weighted rate of about 5 sv% points below the league average. That might not sound great, but for an AAA level goalie, it's actually pretty good. Then, consider that for his entire career, Casey was an underdog in the playoffs. The only exceptions were:

- In the first round in 1994, when the Bruins faced the Habs, who had just one fewer point, and also had Patrick Roy,
- In the first round of 1996, after Fuhr got Kypreosed, he played 4 games against the Leafs, who had the same point total.

Otherwise, it was 53 playoff games against superior opponents.
