This is a very long list to choose from. I think if you wanted to break it down statistically how about somebody taking the least amount of points as a King who got paid the most? To me the signing that irritated me the most was Randy Robitaille. That was the signing where it became clear to me the Kings were not trying to win a championship, they were merely plugging holes with whoever was available no matter how they fit. The stigma that players signed here because they wanted to wind down their careers in a nice, relaxed atmosphere has been around for a long, long time and I think a part of that has been some very bad medical staffs over the years. How do you trade for Roenick without giving him a physical where you would have seen he put on a ton of weight during the lockout? The Kings were never hesitant to add a player regardless of their injury history and that didn't change until a few years after Lombardi got here. Even Deano threw a lot of money at the wrong players.
