Don't they say belly putters are like cheating??? just get to the point where its cheating for you..
You make a lot of sense. I used my old putter over the weekend but I think I am going to just keep practicing with the belly putter until I feel comfortable bagging it. I can see the advantage of it once I get my speed down. I could also use two putters for the time being and ditch my 6 iron until I am fully comfortable with it.
