Maxim Lapierre is the ideal 4th line center imo.

- Good faceoff percentage, including 52.1% last year;
- Good size, 6'2" and 207 lbs;
- Is among NHL leaders for drawing penalties;
- Is good on the penalty kill, averaged 1:08 on the PK last year for the elite Vancouver Canucks;
- Provides decent secondary scoring, with a career average of ~10 goals and ~10 assists per 82 game season.
- Is only 27 years old, and has a marginal injury history.
- Plays for a reasonable cap hit of 1,000,000/year.

I can see why we let him go. We really needed Brett Festerling and that 5th round draft pick.
