Bergeron or Kesler can slip into that top spot by managing to reproduce a few more of those 70+ point seasons they had and maybe winning another Selke, but only if Kane also stays below PPG (he's 3 below on his career, due to last season's 66 in 82). Kane was PPG for his career as recently as the end of February.
Kane is over 100 points behind Getzlaf so I don't see how he's nearly caught him. He's still 30 points behind Bergeron which should take much longer than a season to make up. Also, he's 30 points below a PPG in his career, not 3.
