the whole problem is the people who are already rich and can afford to miss out on a year of income are calling the shots.
its a shame a few journeymen who live contract to contract but are well respected (like maybe Fiddler, Smithson type guys) cant organize all the players currently on ELC's or deals making less than 1.5 million per year, or contracts about to expire and outvote the Crosby's and Webers of the league who will never want for money even if they never play again and tell Don Fehr to make the best deal possible but no matter what have a deal done by Dec 1 or they are going to decertify.
