To me, it's not a question of the power. He's at least a 25 HR a year guy at the MLB level. However, where he will be for average and whether his defense be enough are the questions. If we had an opening at 1B (I wonder if the Red Sox would take on Howard?), Ruf would be an absolute no brainer there.

It's exciting that we have a right-handed offensive player regardless and we all get to pray that he's Matt Holliday-lite.

anyone have an update on how things are going for him defensively in left? adjusting well or will it take awhile? how about his arm?
