Mike, I pretty well agree on the breakdown you make. I think Justin Williams is a bigger piece of the puzzle , and to an extent his speed opens up ice to let Brind Amour play the way he has. No overall arguement really.

Still, I don't think Feaster had any options. He's a victim of circumstance. They win a cup, he has 3 players ripe for big paydays, he's in a market where he may not want to re-tool, to me he had no choice. I heard him on the team at lunch time today. He maintained that if th eteam took 4 1st rounders instead of Richards,they'd have to do it with a different GM. I think he went overboard on St.Louis' contract if one deal has to be singled out. I think his circumstances stink, but he did what he could do. Honestly though, having 3 elite players isn't the worst thing that can happen. I think the biggest thing they face is getting Vinny L. to play more games at his highest level.
