I said AUTO ASSEMBLY. Those jobs were lost to Japanese and German companies, not to Chinese companies. They were lost because management at GM, Ford, etc ran the companies into the ground, they couldn't compete on quality terms.

Japanese and German workers are actually better paid . . .
