As for the OP, no need to rush with FA signings, the team isn't a contender at the moment. Be patient, let the kids grow and in four to six years we should be good to go, THEN start making trades/signings.

Wasn't the plan 2 years ago was to have a 3-5 year rebuild? So we should be 1-3 years from being legitimate cup contenders, or at least conference contenders.
Losing Alfie is going to hurt, so if we can pick up a big name UFA to fill the void and show the kids how to get things done then we need to pull the trigger.
