Gardiner, Lupul, Carlyle, Brown. Perry and Getz come on over and join the dark side.
Lupul wasn't a PPG winger in Anaheim, and you might want to see if he can replicate his success before you anoint him one period. Lupul was expendable in Anaheim, because there just wasn't much room for him. He's clearly more important in Toronto, and that's great for Toronto, but in Anaheim he was further down on the depth chart.

As for Gardiner, losing him hurt, absolutely, but Beauchemin filled a greater need. Fowler jumped right past Gardiner and Schultz on Anaheim's depth chart. You're revising history to make it look a lot worse than it was, or is, for Anaheim. The Ducks still have one of the best prospect pools in the NHL, and that without Gardiner and Schultz. Any claims that Anaheim is just losing pieces, and not replacing them, is just untrue.

Perry and Getzlaf have no experience with Gardiner, don't have the best experience with Carlyle, and Brown is just irrelevant.
