This x1000000. He deserved the Selke the year before he won it, not the year he won it.

Joe Thornton, playoff choker, is PPG over his past 4 playoff rounds, despite being under PPG in the corresponding regular seasons.

Patrick Marleau, softest play in the NHL, is the only Shark who will regularly stand in front of the net and take all sorts of abuse. Also, he has more hits than Thornton and Pavelski combined.
