i don't understand the "ainec" posts given they're not the same type of d-men...they're both very different players.
i like rielly's offensive upside more - however, hamilton is currently (and will always) be a much bigger guy..hamilton needs to learn to use his physical game better (but he is and will be a better physical player than rielly at the NHL level). hamilton is a year older - however, i do not think hamilton was a better prospect this time last year than rielly is right now.
in a "calendar" sense - i think Hamilton will make it to the NHL quicker - but controlling for the year difference b/w the two i see them similarly.
i think both will be great players and while anything can happen re prospect development both players are on a great track right now.
(eta- op said for leafs/bruins fans to refrain from voting - even though i'm from t.o. my "team" is the hawks).
