Steckel might be in the same boat, and I wonder if that is part of the reason he's a 3rd./4th. liner, his skating isn't good enough to overcome his lack of beef. His weight would be good for a 6'1" player (I know size isn't everything but it certainly doesn't hurt - unless you skate in quick sand).
40 years, oh man, I hope he doesn't take that long either haha. Must suck for him, mentally especially, knowing that he can try and try and try and still get nowhere. Nothing he can really do about it which is always the worst feeling. I wonder if his style of game will change a little to find a niche for him. Like ideally we want him to be a big center and seems like he does too, but I wonder if that role will change to say a big frame winger who is tough to move off the puck.
