Not to mention we already have enough skilled forward prospects (Nyquist, Tatar, Jurco, Pulkkinen, Jarnkrok, etc.) and we just signed Brunner, who has been tearing up the NLA for years. And my last point to ruin your guys' hope of us trading for Omark is that we just signed Renney as an assistant coach, and from what I've heard he and Omark don't have a good relationship. So in summary, there's basically a 1% chance the Wings trade for Omark.
Trading a late pick to add a proven productive line with good chemistry isn't all that far fetched. NHL teams aren't afraid to overload teams to make sure they have a competitive environment. I think Omark would be a good fit with Red Wings but that doesnt mean there arent other options that are equally good or better. Its just that this line is head and shoulders above anything else in that league atm.
