I don't think Bergie is that far away from someone like Jacques Demers as far as coach, style of coaching, education, etc...And Demers did win a cup. Bare in mind it was 93. But he beat Pagé around that time. I would trust Bergie over Pagé as far as overall decision-making, like who to put on the ice, Bergie was a offense-first coach and never rolled four lines. Just surround him with good modern day strategists. While even with strategists, I think Pagé would be the sort to make bad decisions out of being hard-head a la Jacques Martin. He kept Hextall in the 93 series even though he didn't have it anymore.
