Revenge for Damon.
I'd rather have Napoli, pena and an assortment of outfielders that you take fliers on than swisher. He batted in the bottom half of the yankees lineup. If the sox are competing as presently constructed plus swisher, it seems like he'd be a top half of the lineup guy. Then the yankees get gardner back and a pick.
