Not challenging the rankings just want to say that Ottawa has been holding their own despite a parade of injuries that has taken the entire first line out of action for what appears to be the entire season now: Blunden - broken ankle, Tochette - continuing concussion symptoms, Blain - continuing knee problems (scheduled for MRI). Several others have missed 1 or 2 games with injuries resulting in the GeeGees worst game of the season in London when they played with only 2 1/2 lines. It holds well for them that others like Jalbert, Forster, Marcoux, Layton and Oulette have stepped up their game but missing their top 3 forwards will make it tough to be a contender.
