The difference in the probability of getting a concussion in the AHL compared to any other league would be negligible. It certainly would not be significant enough to factor into the decision of where he plays this year.

Murray isn't the only guy who has weight in those decisions. Boudreau, McNab, the scouting staff etc would all weight in on whats best. And for all the struggles Murray has had at evaluating players at the NHL level and addressing team needs, he's done a pretty good job with our prospects.
