Wouldn't make any sense to trade for a D, especially a LHS one.

1.Tallinder's 33 years old. we're not in the 80's anymore when players constantly retired at 35. Playing good hcokey until 37's is almost routine today, especially for a defence-man.

2.What injury history ? Tallinder's history nowhere near an injury prone's. A blood clot has nothing to do with playing hockey and will have zero repercussion on Tallinder's health. He jumped right into the SCF and was more than fine.

3.Tallinder's contract is plain fair for a 2nd pairing minute-eating defence-man. And I sure hope if a defence-man is traded from the Devils it'll be Volchenkov and not Tallinder.
