The biggest problem with getting rid of Wenger is that his prescient signings and promotions to the first team of really young players would go away with him, and with that so would Arsenal's advantage over other clubs who share the same financial constraints. On the other hand Arsenal clearly need steel in midfield and he absolutely refuses to do anything about it. So I don't know. But I do know they screwed up big time on this summer's forward signings.

And if you were to do this during the middle of the season, it's likely everything falls apart. Changing manager mid-season and then running towards top four is very abnormal.
