Tri Pen's always awful unfortunately. I don't know what happened exactly but I can imagine their poor quality had something to do with it

Went to their site and saw this:
Any player residing in the TriPen Region wishing to play major midget hockey for the remainder of the 2012/2013 hockey season are asked to contact the Central IcePak immediately. The Major Midget League and Minor Council agreed that TriPen players can play for the Central Icepak. For further information, players are asked to contact Mr. Todd Manuel, Director of Hockey Operations, at or by calling 541-2077.
