Bettman is a voice for the owners, Fehr one for the players. Take those two out of the room, and we have our first "cautious optimism" report since like October.
You'd have to think, considering the owners pay Bettman's salary, and the Union, Fehr's that they'll have to listen to these "optimistic" approaches being taken.
Will be interesting to see what kind of things the players and owners in the room come up with when/if they get reported.
