This is a numbers game though. We are looking at a cap that could well be in the $62-64M range. The Sharks already have $54.3M committed next year on 14 contracts. Clowe makes $4M right now and would be one of the better UFA's. Re-up Clowe at even $4M and you have about $4-5M left to sign 8 players including Jason Demers. Something has to give.
Even if they roll back cap hits you would still only have about $10M to sign 8 guys.
